Gökçe Burner shared the roadmap of its Efficiency Campaign with its authorized service centers.

As one of the leading industrial organizations in the heating sector, Gökçe Brülör gathered with its authorized service centers across Turkey in an online meeting to share the roadmap of its Efficiency Campaign. During the meeting, comprehensive information was presented regarding the campaign's execution process, potential energy savings achievable through the modernization of legacy burners, digital combustion control systems, and field applications.

Gökçe Brülör shared the details of its Efficiency Campaign—launched to enhance energy efficiency in heating systems—with nearly 60 authorized service partners across Turkey during an online meeting held on July 23. In the meeting, which commenced with the opening address by Gökçe Brülör Chairman of the Board H. Ahmet İlhan, the modernization of existing burners, digital combustion control technologies, and the critical role of automation systems in energy savings were discussed.

Targeting up to 15% Savings in Fuel Consumption

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, İlhan stated that approximately 35,000 of the 135,000 burners produced by the company to date are still actively in service. He expressed that modernizing these systems with up-to-date digital technologies can yield fuel savings of up to 15%, and that the investment can pay for itself within 3 to 12 months, depending on the scope of application.

Highlighting that burner systems account for a critical share of Turkey's energy consumption, İlhan provided the following assessment:

Targeting $100 Million in Savings

"Approximately 50% of the natural gas and oil imported into our country is burned by burners. About half of this fuel is utilized in the manufacturing industry, while the other half is used for heating in buildings. Therefore, modernizing burner systems used in both industrial facilities and residential or commercial buildings is of paramount importance. Modernization investments in these areas hold the potential to reduce operating costs while generating approximately $100 million in savings in energy costs nationwide."

Efficiency Can Only Be Observed If Measured

Stating that the mere fact that an old burner is operational does not mean it operates efficiently, İlhan remarked: "Just because an old burner works does not mean it works efficiently. Efficiency can only be observed if it is measured; savings begin with accurate analysis. For this reason, as Gökçe Brülör, we have launched a comprehensive inspection service through our authorized service network across Turkey. With the Savings Potential Report to be prepared as part of this service, we will help businesses and facility managers base their investment decisions on concrete data." Expressing his gratitude to the participants at the end of his address, İlhan emphasized that field business partners will play a vital role in the success of the Efficiency Campaign, conveying his confidence that they will collectively contribute to a more efficient and sustainable future.

Automation Lies at the Center of Modernization

Expressing his gratitude to the participants at the end of his address, İlhan emphasized that field business partners will play a vital role in the success of the Efficiency Campaign, conveying his confidence that they will collectively contribute to a more efficient and sustainable future. Automation lies at the center of modernization.

Attending the meeting as a guest speaker, LAMTEC Eurasia General Manager Tanju Aytuğ drew attention in his presentation to the vital role of combustion control systems and automation in industrial burner technologies regarding energy efficiency.

Aytuğ stated that next-generation automation solutions not only reduce energy consumption but also contribute to continuous monitoring of system performance, lowering emissions, and enabling more effective management of maintenance processes.

Additionally, comprehensive details were shared regarding the inspection processes to be implemented under Gökçe Brülör's Efficiency Campaign, the field duties of authorized services, and the efficiency analyses to be provided to clients. The campaign's goal of contributing to energy efficiency in more businesses and buildings across Turkey was strongly emphasized.
